Consultancy
All projects begin with an initial face to face consultation. This involves an informal discussion with all interested parties to formulate a brief.
Brief
From the consultation a brief is formulated which will outline your needs and requirements.
Site survey
An on site survey determines the dimensions, soil type/condition and the aspect of the garden. For very large plots professional surveyors may be needed.
Outline/sketch plan
Once a scale plan of the plot is obtained an outline or sketch plan can be made. This copy can then be discussed and amended to your specification.
Layout plan
This is an accurate plan based on the above sketch, which will show all the dimensions needed to set out the garden precisely. Including the location of features and suggested types of planting.
Planting plan
This goes into precise details of the proposed planting and is available on its own or used in conjunction with the layout plan.
Construction drawings
These are detailed drawings of proposed hard-landscaping elements such as water features, patio areas etc. These drawings will enable you to clearly communicate what is needed to a contractor.
Maintenance plans
Maintenance plans can also be drawn up describing how best to keep your garden in shape. Further consultancy visits can also be arranged.
